Nine days into the new year, and I’m trying my best to avoid looking at the pile of work awaiting me. Instead, I’m here sitting at my desk, gathering my thoughts. It’s my favourite kind of place to be in to allow my writing to come to fruition. I know I haven’t written much in the past few months, not because I didn't have much to say, but rather because 2014 has just been this never ending constant state of buzzing. There are some years that change who I am – redefining my thoughts, actions and emotions. 2014 was one of those years and while it was hard in many ways, I’m happy to gone through it… but I’m happier to be entering 2015 with the chance of growing into who I want to be.
A large part of my gratitude is extended to my clients, for whom I do what I love. I’m ever grateful for your patience, spontaneity and support, and I always pray there are more beautiful souls like you along my journey.
To all my family, friends and readers – thank you for sticking around. Your faithfulness is such a blessing, and something I don’t deserve, but one I thank God for all the time. You are the reason why I have come this far.
Before we close the books on 2014, here’s a snapshot of the blessings 2014 has brought my way, and the people who empowered me to follow my dreams.
And to hoping 2015 be filled with an abundance of love, joy, hope, new possibilities, and the moving forward in chasing your untried dreams.
